NJSHCA CERTIFICATION FOR PATIENT ADVOCATES


   We are pleased to announce the continuation of our education and professional development program for certification in the Fall of 2007.
 
   The program will offer several of the same workshops, and several new workshops to enable certificate holders to continue their education.
 
   After each course participants will receive a certificate for that particular course. After completing all courses participants will receive a certificate indicating they have completed the patient advocacy certification program.
 
Scheduled courses as of January 2007:

  • Thursday, November 15, 2007
    Handling Crisis Situations
    9:00AM - 3:30PM

The course will be held at the New Jersey Hospital Association, Princeton , New Jersey
 
   We are eager to have your suggestions for future workshops.
 
   We are also interested in your plans. Please let us know of your intentions: completing needed coursework for your certificate, continuing education, or beginning the coursework for a certification. Please respond via email to Lorraine Ravner lravner@centrastate.com.
